Hello, folks.

I'm a New Jersey native working as a financial analyst in New York City and living in Brooklyn. My college degree and professional background is in business, but ever since third grade Language Arts class I've had an affinity for writing. Music has been a significant part of my life for as long as I can remember. It has provided me with some of the greatest memories of my life, and one of my reasons for starting this blog is to have an outlet to share and discuss the things I love about it. I am also a basketball fanatic (both NBA and college) and I can hold my own in nearly any conversation about obscure players that 97% of fans wouldn't remember.

Aside from my day job, I play piano in a Philadelphia-based band called Steady Hands. We have a great time recording songs and performing at local venues in PA and NY.
